It's like having a personal trainer for your music career.

If you're like most of the independent musicians I work with, you probably feel a little lonely and confused at this stage of your career. You've got a passion for music that you want to share with an audience. You also have the pressure of bills to pay, and maybe a family to feed.

Are you counting down the minutes until you've got to "hang it up" and dive into a boring day job for the rest of your life?

I work with clients who want to make the transition into careers as full-time, working musicians. I help my clients get clear about their real goals. Then, I put them on a path that allows them to earn the money, the respect, and the fun that they've been longing for.

Up until now, I have been working with a small group of private clients who pay me hundreds of dollars each month to develop their careers.

Today, I am truly excited to open up a new chapter in music business coaching -- one that allows you to join us on that success journey for a fraction of the cost.

Our new spinme.com members area offers you the opportunity to participate in live seminars and private online discussions. You can catch up on classes you miss by downloading MP3s from our audio archives.

You'll get the same specific tools and techniques that my private clients use. You'll gain access to a worldwide network of working musicians. And you'll get the power and support of a group of fellow artists that share your dreams of success.

Proven Techniques. Proven Tools. Proven Success.

I started working with musicians in 1990, when I got my first paying job at an alternative radio station. Over the years, I worked as a disc jockey, a syndicated public radio producer, a television news journalist, and a freelance writer. Throughout my career, I observed the traits that separated financially successful musicians from folks who "burned bright" but "burned fast."

In 1999, I wrote a series of magazine columns that would eventually evolve into Grow Your Band's Audience, my book for emerging musicians. Hundreds of musicians have written me with stories of the success they achieved with the steps in that book.

Since then, I have shifted my own career to work directly with musicians as a manager and as a music business coach. My methods are unconventional. I'm a contrarian. I'll show you some ways to earn more money making music that have nothing to do with the tiresome treadmill of "getting signed."

Getting signed means going into serious debt. It's a huge risk. We'll show you how to achieve a record deal that works FOR you, without jeopardizing your relationships or your pocketbook.

During the six years that I worked on a highly respected public radio series, I met over a thousand of the world's most successful musicians. Nearly every one of them told me stories about the mistakes they had to overcome to reach true financial and creative freedom.

Not a single one of them thought that their record deal had anything to do with it.

When you join spinme.com, I'll show you ways that you can speed up your journey to success, so you attract the right kind of business deals. You'll learn to avoid scammers, amateurs, and ripoff artists.

You'll learn about the kinds of people you should attract to your success team. You'll learn how to pull together volunteer support from your fan base until you can afford to hire professional service providers like booking agents and publicists.

Most importantly, you'll learn that you're not alone.

From May 2004 until the end of June 2005, I was the coach-in-residence at IndieBiz.com, a highly respected music community run by my friend and colleague, David Hooper. After running that site for nearly a decade, David stepped away so he could focus on some new, compelling work.

Shortly before closing the site to new members, our clients were paying as much as $97 per month to be a part of that community. That's how much value folks were getting from our tools and our techniques.

I expect spinme.com to help artists achieve more results from their careers than any other membership community on the planet.

Although spinme.com has been around since 1996, this is the first time we have integrated a private members area. I understand that you might be a little skeptical about whether a service like ours is right for you.

That's why you can try out our private members area for four days, for just $1.

After the four day trial period, we'll bill your card for $67 every month. You lock in that low monthly fee for as long as you remain a continuous member. I fully expect, by the end of 2006, that we'll be charging folks as much as $97 a month (or more) to join us -- that's how good our service is.

Once we have over a hundred folks on board, the price will probably go up again. I'm not trying to cram the membership with folks who aren't serious. If you really want to succeed in music, you've either got to take this leap with us as a Charter Member -- or prepare to pay higher fees down the road.

Of course, our members will get lots of extra perks throughout the year, such as complimentary e-books and CDs, priority access to white papers, and even special live events -- all included in the membership.

It pays to be a "first mover." Join us today to show me you're ready for success as a professional musician.

Book one more gig every month, and it pays for itself.

We know money's tight. I live in Athens, Georgia, where the cost of living is one of the lowest in the United States. $67 is still a lot of money to me -- that's ten lunches at my favorite deli!

If I can't help you earn more money to pay for your membership, then I don't deserve your money.

If you're selling CDs at $10 a pop, I will work with you to make sure you're moving enough new units each month to justify this expense -- and then some. I'll help you book more gigs and get more folks to shows, so this $67 expense becomes just a tiny fraction of your overhead.

Though I don't necessarily believe that you have to spend money to make money, this particular investment should pay for itself quickly, or I'll refund your money.

We've eliminated the risk, so you can focus on success.

I'm serious. If you come on board and realize that the service is not for you, tell me. I will gladly refund your money for your current month's fees. I'd rather keep the slot open for someone who really "gets it."

I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed. At our launch date of July 1, we had 11 hours of audio already in the archives. Right now, we've got over two dozen recordings ready for you to enjoy. We have ten more hours of live classes scheduled every month through the end of the year.

We could probably take any one of these recordings or classes, stage them as a seminar in a hotel ballroom, and charge $67 for each one.

But -- and my clients and my wife can back me up on this -- I'm crazy about musicians.

I'm generous to a fault.

I know that $67 is a big deal to you, and I want you to always feel like I'm overdelivering on my promise.

Let today be the last day that you put off your journey to a successful music career.
