The other day, I was speaking with a client about some sudden opportunities that he had picked up to score some film soundtracks and to get some of his song hooks into movies and television shows. One of the things that many working musicians overlook is the fact that there are still tremendous opportunities in visual media to make money making music. In this week's Austin Chronicle, Mark Rubin writes about being far out on the edge of this spectrum, when the director of the movie Infamous asked him to go above and beyond the call of a typical soundtrack gig and help recreate an actual concert.
