Whether you listen to rock, pop or jazz, a new study suggests that music has an impact on our emotional well-being.

Dr Emery Schubert, a psychologist at the University of New South Wales who conducted the study said, "Among other things, loudness, tempo and pitch have a measurable impact on people's emotional response to music."
