Nashville Confirmed -- See Joe T. Live on May 8

For the past few weeks, I've been hinting about a major special event I'm going to be a part of. It's what we're calling the “Music Business Boot Camp.? Think of it as all of the best things about a music conference – compressed into 24 hours. We have an all-star lineup of speakers during the day, and some fun parties and showcases coming together for the evening.

It all happens on May 8th, in a wonderful spot just a few blocks from the campus of Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Here's a glimpse of who you'll get to meet (in addition to yours truly):

** David Hooper, founder of the Nashville New Music Conference, and co-author of the book “How I Make $100,000 a Year in the Music Industry.?

** Bob Baker, “Mr. Buzz Factor? himself, the author of “Guerrilla Music Marketing? and other fantastic books.

** Danica Mathers, one of the best entertainment attorneys in the country.

David and his team at 2NMC are graciously hosting this event as a sneak preview of the kind of mind-blowing experience you'll get from the full conference in September.

We want to see you at this event. We only have 400 seats, and we could have charged two or three hundred dollars for each one. But that's not what we're about. We're about putting money IN your pocket.

That's why we've got two easy ways to get you in the door to this invitation-only event.

ONE: You can submit your material to showcase at 2NMC this fall. Not only will your material be reviewed by one of the best editorial teams in the business, you'll get yourself a ticket to the Boot Camp event. You don't have to actually send any material today – just tell us you're submitting so we save you a seat. The submission fee is only $25, and you should do it online, right now, at:

TWO: If you don't think you're interested in playing out at 2NMC this fall, but you still want to join us at the May 8th Boot Camp, you can guarantee yourself a seat by purchasing a copy of Grow Your Band's Audience, direct from our friends at CDBaby. (Derek and his team have been working hard to make sure our orders get shipped within 24 hours, and we've even had a book get to France in under five days!)

There's only one catch. To get yourself to Boot Camp, you have to place your book order TODAY, Friday, March 5th. Then you just have to forward your CDBaby e-mail receipt to my personal address: joetaylor@spinme.com. We'll try to make this offer available for a few days longer, but TODAY is the only day I can guarantee you a ticket to Boot Camp, so visit this link right now:

Remember, the longer you wait, the less chance we have of holding a ticket with your name on it. In the time it took me to type this, we already gave out fifty tickets, which means there are less than 350 seats left.

I'll stop typing now, so you can make sure you get a seat!!

Sincerely,

Joe Taylor Jr. Editor, Indie Music Club Author, Grow Your Band's Audience

P.S.: Forward me that CDBaby receipt TODAY, and I'll kick in a complimentary admission to our 4-week telephone seminar in April, called “Build Your Band's Site.? (A $20 value!)

P.P.S.: Although lots of folks scribble on the exercise pages of “Grow Your Band's Audience,? I will be happy to sign your book in Nashville – if you have any space left in it for me!
