Taking place each Tuesday at The Foxx Club in West L.A., the showcases, called City of Rhythm Industry, also act as a networking vehicle for musicians, singers, DJâ€™s, rappers, managers, promoters and music professionals. Keith Babbitt of SP Entertainment notes, â€œWeâ€™re also inviting artists to bring along their CDs to pitch and sell. And, weâ€™ll be filming for local music video shows.â€??
Co-sponsors of the event include Universal Music, Sony Music, Interscope, Motown Records, J Records, Arista, Island Def Jam and Roc-A-Fella Records.
